Privacy, PIPEDA & data controller

Trendharbor collects and processes personal information to provide booking, workshop delivery, invoicing and customer service. We adhere to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and local provincial requirements where applicable.

  • Purpose: booking, customer service, marketing (with consent), billing.
  • Retention: as required for tax, accounting and legal claims, typically minimum 7 years for financial records.
  • Processor disclosure: we may use third-party service providers for payments, email, and scheduling.

Terms, cancellations & refunds

Bookings are subject to availability and full acceptance of our terms. Participants must follow instructor directions. Trendharbor reserves the right to cancel classes for low enrolment or extraordinary circumstances; fees will be refunded or transferred.
Workshop terms illustration

Cancellations by participants: notify us at least 7 days before the class for a refund minus administrative fees. Within 7 days, credits or transfers may be offered case-by-case. See specific event terms when booking.

Participants assume responsibility for personal items and any injury resulting from not following instructor guidance. Trendharbor maintains liability insurance; to request policy details, contact our office.

Accessibility & alternative formats

We are committed to accessibility and will provide information in alternate formats upon request. To request accessible formats or arrange accommodations for an event, contact us and allow reasonable notice.

Complaints & dispute resolution

If you have a complaint about privacy, service or a workshop, please contact our team. We will investigate and provide a response within a reasonable time. Unresolved disputes may be escalated to relevant provincial authorities or small claims court in Ontario.

Governing law & jurisdiction

These notices and any dispute relating to them are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Courts of Ontario shall have exclusive jurisdiction unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
